ANMA: Our Story
From a young age, I felt a deep connection with candles. To me, they were always something universal, independent of specific beliefs or rituals. In my family, candles were present during moments of gratitude, and while they were part of the atmosphere, they didn’t hold much special meaning for me. That all changed the day my partner showed me a candle that changed color. It wasn’t just the color change that moved me;it was the spark of emotion in his eyes. I saw how such a simple candle ignited something inside him, and it made me wonder if we could create something that would captivate people in the same way—something that transcended mere light.
That idea ignited a spark in me, and from that moment, the focus became clear: to transform the experience of lighting a candle into an emotional and sensory connection. My partner, with his creative vision, took charge of the design and brought our brand to life, while I dedicated myself to discovering the finest techniques and selecting the most exquisite fragrances—those that could transport anyone who lit them to a place of peace and beauty. We didn’t want to be just another luxury brand;we wanted something that touched hearts, a meaningful gift, a representation of our passion and dedication.
However, like every great story, not everything has been happiness and harmony. The loss of my mother deeply marked this journey. During the grieving process, I poured myself even more into ANMA, and every step in its growth became a small act of healing. I turned pain into strength, into sacrifice, and began letting go of comforts and relationships that, though valuable, were no longer aligned with this new direction. I learned that sometimes, we need to let go of people and places—not because they’ve harmed us, but because our cycle with them has come to an end. Accepting these changes with maturity and purpose was as painful as it was necessary to move forward with a renewed vision.
This journey of learning to let go in order to move forward has also brought rewards. Today, our candles, crafted with love in Medellín, Colombia, are present in international markets. We take pride in knowing that our dedicated and meticulous work crosses borders and creates memorable experiences for people around the world.
In addition to my role at ANMA, my professional background is diverse and enriching. I am a telecommunications professional with extensive knowledge in market management and a business administration technician. I am also certified in crystal healing and medicine for the body, emotions, and spirit, which has allowed me to connect this passion for well-being with the essence of our brand. I am passionate about topics related to well-being, inner revolution, and the power of self-magic, which gives a unique and intentional focus to every candle we create.
My vision for the future of ANMA is for it to be more than just a luxury brand. I want it to be a gateway to moments of peace and connection, a symbol of human quality, where every candle carries a piece of our story. More than objects, they should be experiences that reflect our ideals and make every sacrifice and effort behind them worthwhile. ANMA has a soul, and our mission is for that soul to illuminate homes around the world.
